Waking up from a Bad Dream?

December 6th, 2006 by aizatto

So I’ve been in Chile for a few days now, and its one weird feeling. I have this awkward feeling that I have woken up from a bad dream. There really is no worries here, and me, and my siblings live a (albeit very) sheltered life. No dirty house/room, queen sized beds, cooling weather, no humidity, no rain, unlimited supply of food, a full fridge (7 of them actually), chauffeured driver, no crazy proton tiara, home made food, the air smells great, mowed and kept lawn, swimming pool. The chocolate milk and orange is also very thick, and yummy.

The contrast to my living conditions in Malaysia is huge, not like what I had was a bad thing at all.

It summer here in Chile, and the days here are so much longer. By 6:30am the sun is already up, and it sets at around 9pm. Its a very long day, and around 7pm, to me at the moment it feels like 5pm. I wonder how long the days are winter here.

One of the best part so far? Waking up to the cold morning wrapped up in your blanket, best of all it utilizes 100% Natural Mother Nature Cooling.

Chile: Day 1

20,000+ kilometers, 3 continents, 5 countries, all within 32 hours. Just arrived in Chile not to long ago, and it was one damn long flight. Worst of all it was all in Economy, so my whole body right now is sore.

Looks like the almighty Google overlords, already know where I am.

Met up with family, and wondering what I will exactly be doing in the next two months.

Will upload photos later.
