My First Voice Over Recording
I recently did my first ever voice over for The Voice Guild. After almost 5 months of waiting I finally got a voice over opportunity through The Voice Guild. I am might happy because it has been a while after I made my demo reel, and also much to my surprise that someone actually likes it, as I find it non traditional. Plus I finally got some ROI after paying RM 100 for the demo reel.
The job was for NNA Entertainment, and I was called in the morning about the opportunity to do a voice over for a company video. I was asked about my rate, but since this was my first job, I just went with it. On hindsight I should have checked The Voice Guild Voiceover Rate. But that's alright, I learned my lesson.
Soon later I received the script via email. The final video is approximately 8 minutes long, but took close to an hour and a half to record.
When it's up I'll post it here.
This time I prepared myself with some water. Got myself a proper 1.5 Liter bottle of water before entering the recording room.
Even though I prepared for the recording, I learned that I should rearrange the formatting of the script myself. The formatting made it difficult to read the script as certain lines to deliver were either split across pages, or broken to the next line.
I wonder when I'll get my next voice over. Anyone want my beautiful voice?
