FOSS.IN 2007 - A Trip to Bangalore, India

October 3rd, 2007 by aizatto

Last year the International Open Source Network (IOSN), held an Exchange Grant allowing members of the FOSS Community to travel to and participate in a FOSS Conference. I sent my submission to go to FOSS.IN, but sadly I didn’t make the cut.

IOSN once again opened Exchange Grants this year, and I submitted an entry, hoping to go to this year’s FOSS.IN. After about 2 weeks of silence, I finally received an email in my inbox. It looks like I have been selected to go! Looks like I still have some luck on my side still.

This will be my first time to a FOSS Conference, and also to India!

Who else is going? See you guys there!

Congrats that you got your ticket to India. It must be going to be a wonderful experience for you to see an another world and meet various people. Enjoy! :)

Make sure you don’t forget to get a souvenir for me! (Intriguing stories you experienced in India would do!!)
