Life is Like Tetris

Tetris
One thing I've realized a while ago, and my friend Yu put it nicely: Life is like Tetris. Things just keep coming one by one, and you can't stop it at all.

No matter what you try to do, unless you pull yourself out completely, things just keep coming. Left right and center, and if you don't clear them off, they just keep piling up. Sadly there is no defined point of game over in real life.

Sure you can stop doing certain activities fully, but how many of us have the opportunity and chance to pull out? Are those the people with barely any lines?

One strategy I've picked up is to "Just Do It". If it takes less than 5, 10, or maybe 15 minutes, depending on the difficulty. Just get it done and over with.

Sure if you are highly focused it might just break your train of thought. But sometimes its good to take a breather and do something else.

The only real thing to be careful of, is not to let all those things take up your time.

Another one, I've tried to keep up to is to "reduce complexity". If there is a something you see, where the complexity can be reduced. Reduce it. Note that it might take a bit of complexity to reduce it to begin with. If you follow the "Just Do It" mantra, you can already help to reduce complexity.

Seriously, Life is alot like Tetris.
