Ruby on Rails at OSHCA Conference

May 4th, 2007 by aizatto

Ruby on Rails
Looks like I’ll be giving a small “training” session on Ruby on Rails at the upcoming Open Source Health Care Alliance (OSHCA) Conference between May 8-11th, judging from the present schedule, I’m going on at 11th May 2007, 2:00pm - 2:45pm.

Abstract:

Bringing back the fun to web development, Ruby on Rails is the latest framework that is stirring up a storm on the Internet for its rapid speed of development and maintainability. But most importantly it’s just plain good fun to use, and deploy. Learn what Ruby is and how you can utilize Rails in your environment. See for yourself as Rails applications are built within minutes. Judge for yourself how Rails competes against other established defacto platforms such as JSP and PHP. Ruby on Rails, bringing the fun back to the web.
