Something similar to the movie you watched this time. I wasn't really interested in ancient history before, but after watching Troy, I went straight to bookstore to get Iliad for original story. The movie was that good. Well, unfortunately I couldn't finish the book though :( It was a tough book to read) Anyway, I loved the scenes of battle in Troy. Man it was definitely one of the best movie I've seen in my life. And like you said, those buff guys really got me. Brad Pitt as Achilles was splendid. If you haven't seen Troy yet, I recommend you take an eye on it. You'll love it. So yeah, by reading your entry, 300 seems to be a movie that I cannot miss.
