Tourism Malaysia should call to bloggers

So Malaysia's been recognized for its etourism site. Congratulations, I think it's actually quite visually pleasing.
Now this post has actually been sitting on the back burner for a very long time, and to help Tourism Malaysia, I thought I'd just release it. As a web developer, I have other suggestions on how to improve the site, hopefully I'll write something sometime soon.
------
It is the year 2007, and for many (especially those in Malaysia), they know that its Visit Malaysia Year 2007 (VMY). A time for people to welcome tourists into Malaysia, and hopefully reap some profits from it! Also to show case the diversity, and (etc...) that Malaysia has.
Actually I do hope that with an increased interest in tourism this year, parts of Malaysia will be cleaned up. I mean clean in many ways. The streets will be cleaner, the crime rate lower, the people...well who knows?
In my aizatto ways, I think I will start writing a series of articles on how Tourism Malaysia can use the Internet better to increase awareness about VMY.
My first thought is was when I was taking a look at PayPerPost, I was thinking that Tourism Malaysia should actually pay bloggers to post about Visit Malaysia Year 2007. This not only attracts more people to talk about it, but more importantly people who have already visited Malaysia, but also as a way to spread the news. Who best to talk about Malaysia than the citizens themselves?
Similarly Tourism Malaysia needs to have a PR, where bloggers can grab nice pretty images and post them up. Make life easy for people to show how great Malaysia is.
This is Web 2.0 my friends! New forms of marketing! Hurry up and learn will ya?
This is not a sponsored post.
