Malaysia Open Source Software Alliance (MOSSA)

Though I have been out of the loop, for a while, some things are picking up in Malaysia.

The Malaysia Open Source Software Alliance (MOSSA) was announced just last week.

At the moment it stand as a position statement against, though not recent, its also not old, announcement of the Malaysian adoption of the technology neutral approach by our Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation inister Datuk Seri Dr Jamaludin Jarjis.

At present a collection of 36 individuals and organizations have endorsed the position statement. A noted doubling of members since last week.

Hopefully the year of 2007 will have things picking up in the area of FOSS, and other relative activities. Ie: The Creative Commons.
