Beryl and Dual Monitors

October 28th, 2006 by aizatto

I have a spare monitor at home which I use to increase the amount of desktop real estate I have to about 2048000 additional pixels (thats 1600×1280). I do this partly because my laptop has a limited resolution of1024×768, which to say the least is very measly. The trouble I am having is getting Beryl to work with this dual monitor setup, and I haven’t been able to resolve the issue. There are reports of it working, but thats through using an Nvidia graphics card, and the twinview option, which I don’t have.

I am on an Intel i915 chipset, and I would love to have Beryl and Dual Monitor working. Anyone have any solutions?
