Another day at the MIND
Spent another day at Microsoft HQ at the Malaysian Independent Developers, and sadly it was all marketing. There was a large section about the upcoming Windows Vista, and the new Microsoft Xbox 360, which I got to play Dead or Alive 4 for only one round. The graphics for the Xbox 360 are quite awesome I have to admit. But look at it, a triple core powe rpc with the next gen graphics card from ATI. Talk about hard core stuff in there. Hehe, but dear god look at that big power brick.
The numbers this time was actually quite small, and quite comparable to the MyOSS Meetups. Personally I think the MyOSS Meetups are also much more fun. This is because I believe our presentations are alot more interactive with the audience, and the audience is alot more close knit, and discuss freely amongst each other. Which is awesome. So guys at MyOSS, cheers

I must say I am very much impressed and encouraged by the Feb Meetup. The number might not be many, but everyone was full of enthusiasm. The desire and willingness to share what one had learned with others are extremely high! I see this kind of sharing and helping nature everywhere in the FOSS communities. MyOSS is no different!
